We aim to provide a homely atmosphere in which your child can relax, have fun and learn. We have a team of qualified, experienced, dedicated staff who aim to provide the best possible care for your child within the context of a happy, secure environment. However, we do not let the physical boundaries of the nursery stop us, we strive to enhance children's life experiences by encouraging external activities when staffing ratios allow. We have recently taken the children to the library in the next town, via a double decker bus. A simple outing, that none had experienced before. We are planning other outings, including a visit to a Chinese restaurant. We rarely ask for additional money from parents to help finance these outings, only that the standard fees are paid on time.

The Day

The setting organises the day so that children can take part in a variety of child-chosen and adult-led activities. These take account of children's changing energy levels throughout the day. The setting caters for children's individual needs for rest and quiet activities during the day. Outdoor activities contribute to children's health, their physical development and their knowledge of the world around them.
