The Caterpillar room is for babies’ aged three months to two years. We provide a family atmosphere for your baby so that they feel safe and comfortable whilst at nursery. In this ‘home from home’ environment we will stick as closely as we can to your babies individual routines and requirements.

We offer a stimulating learning environment for your baby providing a wide range of activities and experiences that will aid your babies learning and development. Some of these include the following:

• Sensory play - treasure baskets, sand play, water play, rice/pasta play and cooking.

• Creative play - painting, sticking, music sessions.

• Physical play - ball pool and soft climbing equipment, outdoor play.

All of the activities and experiences on offer provide opportunities for your baby to develop their communication and language skills. Furthermore your child will be developing personality, social and emotional interaction with adults and other babies.

The Caterpillar room now boasts a new range of four seater pushchairs. We use these to take the babies out for walks around Stanwick. We love to utilise the village facilities and enjoy feeding the horses, going to the park and playing at the school field and playground.
